World Bank provided a credit of US$ 60 million to BISP for Pakistan Social Safety Net Technical Assistance Project which supported design of poverty scorecard, survey of all households in Pakistan and associated activities. BISP received additional financing of US$ 150 million for Pakistan Social Safety Net project to launch a co-responsibility Cash Transfer/CCT (Waseela-e-Taleem) program for primary education of children of BISP beneficiaries. The additional funding of US$ 150 million was made through the set of DLIs totalling 19, all of which have been achieved. Negotiations for the new programme are to be held from 25-26 January, 2017.
